Me and a group of friends were talking about how each of us knows a little secret about BYU. Things like where to get the best food or how to find a successful NCMO spot (I didn’t write that one :). I must admit, while I had my feet in the calm waters of Waikiki beach, I wanted to see how fun (and scary) the ocean could be. Brittany and I settled upon Sandy Beach. As the name implies, it had plenty of sand. We didn’t think that the waves would be huge, but it turned out to be great fun. Brittany went in just to her ankles, but I thought I’d go in “up to my knees”. Watch the YouTube video and see what a surprise I received.
We finally got our storm that we were promised if we moved to Texas in the summer! Here’s a few short clips from the storm.
With any blog, it’s only as good as the content and how often it’s updated. So, I “promise” I’ll try my best to be sure I will work hard and post often.
For an update, we’re living in Houston, TX right now and I’m just finishing up an internship with ExxonMobil. Since it’s such a huge company, I do a very specialized job that really has nothing to do with gas. Programming and lots of it (ASP.NET for those geeks out there). We’ll be heading home later this month to start the next semester of school. Only 2 more years to go!
