She’s an eater. She already started gaining weight by day three and at her six-day appointment she was up 4 ounces from her birth weight. By two weeks she hit eight pounds. Amazingly, we haven’t supplemented with any formula.
I’m trying to take weekly pictures of Abby for the first 1-2 months and then monthly from then on. We had professional pictures taken of her when she was six days old. They turned out gorgeous but the photographer is on vacation so it’ll be a week or so before we can share them.
Here is Little Pickle at two weeks.
Here is our Abbifat (as Devin lovingly calls her) at three weeks.
Katelyn decided she wanted to be involved and I caught some cute moments of her trying to snuggle.
And showing everyone where Abby’s nose is.
It’s been so great having my parents here, especially since I had a repeat c-section. Katelyn has fallen in love with her Gramps who keeps her entertained with walks, parks, and peanuts. Here they are eating peanuts together.
Likewise, Abby is fond of her grandparents and they seem to love her no matter how long she keeps them up at night.
We are working on the sleeping thing.
Abby is just working on being held as much as possible. It just might be working.
I love all the pictures! They are great. She is such a beautiful baby. I hear ya on good eating and wanting to be held as much as possible! Get all the rest you can while your parents are with you. =)
You guys make such pretty babies! They are both beautiful.
