Getting…creative

What do you do when you have zero dollars, an extra skirt laying around and a daughter with no church clothes that fit her? You get creative.

Last weekend I realized our current situation either required some action or Katelyn going to church in her jammers. So I busted out the old sewing machine, cut up one of my skirts and made Katelyn a new dress. I think I did a pretty dang good job for making everything up as I went along and having limited sewing experience and no formal training.
