A few weeks ago we had our family pictures taken. Choosing a photographer these days is certainly a task and even more so when you don’t want to spend your life savings to get a decent shot. Devin happened to stumble upon a lead through people at work which ended up being a great find. We booked a session and though I was bummed because we were scheduled several weeks out, I’m so glad we didn’t settle for anyone else.
She was amazing. She worked so well with Katelyn and got so many shots of her smiling and having fun even though it was her bed time.
I’m not a fan of maternity photography. Not my thing. The last thing I wanted was for my tummy to show in the pictures. And though there are a handful of shots catching my widest angle, I was generally pleased that the majority of them didn’t show much of my bump…or rump.
Despite being further in my pregnancy than I wanted to for the pics, it actually turned out that it was within a few days of Katelyn’s 18 month mark. Nice for me that I didn’t have to drag her to the park and try to get her to stand still while I took her pictures…which probably wouldn’t have happened anyway.
